This is the second update of Keen Games, adding a new subfamily branch to the game, introducing the first dual wielding weapon, more building materials, musical instruments, Steam Deck performance optimization, and more. Keen Games announced today that the second content update for Fog Lock Kingdom has been released. In this update, "Melody of the Mud" has added instruments and a new giant tree biome called "Black Mud" to the game. This update also brings new features, wildlife, building materials, assets, an expanded enemy camp, and game quality optimization. KeenGames, the developer and publisher of Fog Lock Kingdom, continues to achieve their goals set for 2024 one by one, with the release of 1.0 full version and console version by 2025. Watch the melody trailer of the swamp below to learn about new content and a corner of optimization.
Welcome to the Black Mud Marsh - an extended area deep in the bustling forest, with towering trees, sprawling roots, and houses hidden among the branches. Compared to other areas in Fog Lock Kingdom, the new area focuses more on vertical extension, and some areas can be reached by jumping on the newly added springboard. There are still Woka hidden among the trees, which are a biological camp that inhabits the forest. They look cute, but can also be quite vicious when necessary. Other newly added beasts live under huge tree canopies, in swamps, and underground. Be careful of your feet - if you are not careful enough during the adventure, you will be slowed down by the thick mud.
